My first post!!!

Hello everyone reading this. This blog will be about my everyday life in affiliate marketing and trying to find that next big thing.

If you don't already know, affiliate marketing is when a website pays you a certan % commision for selling their products. This system can be applied to any product. Some commisions can earn you anywhere from 5% to 80% of the total value. Once you've signed yourself up with a site they give you banners, text ads, email ads, or a referral link.

Now you may be wondering how do you make sales. Well this is the perfect question that all these so-called marketing "GURUS" answer by selling you some 97$ ebook that will supposedly make you thousands each week. But there is no simple answer to this. You can make sales by advertising your affiliate link on google searches, by posting in forums, using craigslist, etc... This list is endless. Basically what your trying to do is find people that are interested in your product so that you can put your referral link in front of them so they hopefully buy it through that link so you get your commission.

More on the whole ebook thing. Now alot of the self-proclaimed GURUS out there have made ebooks telling you some ultra top secret formula to affiliate success. Well I'm sorry to burst your bubble but THEY'RE ALL LYING. Yea they are only in it to make a buck. Most of them don't even make a quarter of what they say they make in a year. They take pictures in front of nice cars in suits, some are with beautiful girls in their arms, some are in front of a gigantic million dollar house. The sad part is that picture of them in front of "their brand new Bentley" that you saw was really just the person in front of someone elses house. Thats right. Its not their car. Same with the women the only difference is that they usually have to pay the women to take a picture with them. Let's talk about that million dollar house that you saw. Some of these pictures are just of a house and they say they own it, complete B.S. Some of them are standing in front of "their house" well just like the car, they probably just drove past a nice house and took a picture.

So use your common sense and realise that these people only try to make money off of you. So don't buy into it because after all your smarter than all that nonsense.Right? So instead keep checking back here so that you can find the real truth. Like I always said, "What do you have to lose?"
